Well, my mother glories in the fact that my daughter stomps away when she is disgusted with her mother's dictates and in the risk taking of my son. I think it is rather mean-spirited of her to always mention that she knew a girl who once stomped and climbed over everything she could.
Brenna is very much her daddy. Her eyes open in the am and she is happy and ready for the day. Ethan is very much like his mommy. His eyes open in the am and...well...they really shouldn't be open yet. Him and I walk around like something out of MJ'S Thriller. We are NOT morning people.
It seems I see so much more of my personality in Ethan than I do in Brenna. They both have a compassionate heart (which I am so thankful they do!), and are very caring and very aware of when they need to show love and care to someone.
It is such a fun age right now! 4 & 6 to see their little personalities mold and shape! I love being a mommy! (Yes even on bad days...just ask me the day after = -)
I don't see much of my personality in Bella. I always say if she hadn't come out of my body, I would think she wasn't mine. lol She is exactly like her daddy! Don't think, just do! Benjamin is ALOT like me! He is very laid back and tender hearted like I am. We both kind of 'go with the flow'. Gia is like me in her people skills. She's eager to make new friends and very loyal to the one's she already has. And John, well he seems to be a thinker, studying people and things. I'm not sure who he gets that from! =)
All 3 of my girls are stubborn and strong willed like their mommy...it's gonna be a rough 18 years...lol...fortunately they are all the court jester like their daddy...that should get them out of trouble...Mia is a very deep thinker like me, Addie is very self contented and keeps a lot of her feelings inside like me and Maylee appears to be exhibiting signs of obsessive compulsive like me with the baby einstein video insatiatiability...lol
Well I see ALOT of myself in all of my kids just different things!!Ricky is so a BOSS and likes to be a leader,Lexus is so prissy like I was when I was her age,Sarah well lets say STUBBORN and STRONG willed!!;)All 3 are VERY in touch with their feelings and let them be known!!They are ALWAYS on my side and when I'm hurt they comfort me in every way!! All can be trying and I can understand where my parents and Ricky are coming from sometimes,I just thank God that I'm a mother and to give me guidence!:)
